Prof. Dr. Gül Banu Dayanç Kıyat
Prof. Dr. Banu Dayanç Kıyat is BrandEnn's academic advisor. She is responsible for ensuring that brand building within the studio progresses not by intuition, but on a measurable knowledge base. She serves as a faculty member in the E-Commerce and Marketing Program at Haliç University and also manages the university's Continuing Education Center. Her academic work focuses on marketing communication, brand management, corporate reputation, crisis communication, and consumer behavior.
At the core of her research lies a single question: How is the impression a brand leaves in the consumer's mind formed, and how is it measured? Her studies on brand authenticity, word-of-mouth marketing, and customer satisfaction address different layers of this question. She has scientific publications and book chapters on healthcare marketing, sectoral reputation management, and the impact of corporate advertising. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses and supervises theses.
Her role at BrandEnn is built upon testing the perceptual propositions behind the studio's design decisions. What a color, a typographic choice, or a brand narrative triggers in the audience is treated not as a matter of preference within the studio, but as a hypothesis compared against literature. She also evaluates the methodological framework of the thought studies produced under beHQ from this perspective.
Her fundamental premise is this: reputation is not a communication output, but the result of accumulated perception. And it cannot be managed unless it is measured.
