Emre Kıvrak

Emre Kıvrak is BrandEnn's brand architect. He manages the phase where strategic decisions are transformed into a visual system.

He joined the studio in 2013, when it was still known as DFCPA.BE. He has been working at the same desk for thirteen years. This period covers the entire time BrandEnn's approach was shaped. The working discipline, built on what a brand's visual identity triggers in the viewer's mind, was formed within the studio during these years, and Kıvrak was part of this formation.

He works in corporate identity, logo, packaging, and stage design. He took part in image and digital asset studies conducted for the IMIS event of Sabancı University's Industrial Engineering Community. He is responsible for guiding the creative team and transforming sources of inspiration into brand-specific outputs.

After completing his undergraduate degree in Graphic Design at Istanbul Aydın University, he earned his master's degree in Design and Visual Communication at Ondokuz Mayıs University. Since 2020, he has been lecturing at the same university. His position, both producing and explaining design, ensures that decisions within the studio are established with their rationale.

His working principle is based on a single sentence: If a design decision does not have a defensible rationale, that decision has not yet been made.
